Saw Swee Leong is a former Malaysian badminton player who was born on 16 July 1955 in Penang, Malaysia. He is one of the most successful badminton players in the history of the sport, having won numerous titles in both singles and doubles. He was the first Malaysian to win the All-England Open Badminton Championships in 1983. Saw Swee Leong was a member of the Malaysian national badminton team from 1975 to 1988. During his career, he won numerous titles in both singles and doubles, including the All-England Open Badminton Championships in 1983, the Asian Badminton Championships in 1985, and the World Grand Prix Finals in 1986. He also won the Malaysian Open in 1983 and 1984. Saw Swee Leong retired from professional badminton in 1988 and is currently the president of the Badminton Association of Malaysia. He is also a member of the International Olympic Committee. As of 2021, Saw Swee Leong's net worth is estimated to be around $2 million.
