Timeline
At the time of his departure in July 2006, he was prepping the launch of the new magazine Geek Monthly, which replaced the long-running CFQ. In late July '06, Sean left CFQ/Geek/etc for a job as a producer on G4 TV's Attack of the Show. He'd met one of their producers while on assignment covering the Kingdom of Heaven DVD junket in the south of France and started appearing on the show regularly to discuss the latest TV news. After over a half-dozen appearances, it was mentioned they were looking for a new producer, and the rest is history. In his near-two years at G4, Sean has worked on several elements of AOTS. He was hired on a Segment Producer on The Loop, the show's daily topical debate/discussion segment, and was promoted to Sr.
Die hard entertainment junkie Sean Jordan got his official start in the entertainment industry working for L. A. based alt rock station KROQ, where he championed getting bands like Radiohead and Weezer on the air. A couple of months after leaving, he tried to justify time spent on the Internet by starting up a weekly news emailer known as ZENtertainment. What started as a short emailer sent to 30 or so close friends rapidly ballooned to a popular read that would go out to over 150,000 readers weekly. ZEN led Sean to many other endeavors; He was brought in to aid New Line Cinema with a number of interactive marketing campaigns on such films as The Lord of the Rings, Austin Powers and Lost in Space, helping form one of the first examples of a major studio working with its film's fans and their webmasters. He took some time off in 2000 to go to become a Le Cordon Bleu chef, eventually working at a Claude Segal restaurant in Hollywood. His writing also led him to getting pulled in to work at the relaunched CFQ/Cinefantastique and Femme Fatales Magazines when they relaunched under new owners Mindfire Entertainment. What started as a simple writing and web consulting gig quickly expanded, and eventually, Sean would be running CFQ as its Editor-in-Chief. While there, he traveled the world visiting numerous film and TV sets, helped the producers of Smallville cast the role of Lois Lane, and assisted the film production side of Mindfire with assorted projects.
