Sergei Zhigunov was also the producer of the film The Apocalypse Code (2007), the television series Goryunov (2013) and The Tourwriters (2016).

Mother Galina Ivanovna Zhigunova was also an actress, since 2005 she has been the main director of the Young Spectator Theater in Sergiev Posad.
