He has also written and produced for other Latin music stars such as Alejandro Fernandez, Luis Fonsi, and Gloria Estefan. Sergio Santana was born on August 10, 1979 in Rio Grande, Zacatecas, Mexico. He began his musical career at the age of 15, when he joined the band Mana. He wrote and produced several hit singles for the band, including "Oye Mi Amor," "Mariposa Traicionera," and "Labios Compartidos." Sergio Santana has won several awards for his work, including a Latin Grammy for Best Rock Album in 2004 for Mana's "Revolucion de Amor." He has also been nominated for several other awards, including a Latin Grammy for Best Pop Album in 2006 for Alejandro Fernandez's "A Corazon Abierto." Sergio Santana is currently married to Mexican actress and singer, Anahi. The couple has two children together.
