He began his career with hometown club Oderzo in 1999, before moving to Serie A side Chievo Verona in 2001. He spent two seasons with Chievo, before joining Serie B side Triestina in 2003. He spent three seasons with Triestina, before joining Serie A side Palermo in 2006. He spent two seasons with Palermo, before joining Serie B side Pescara in 2008. Dall'Acqua has made over 200 appearances in the Italian top flight, and has also represented Italy at the Under-21 level. He is known for his passing ability and his ability to read the game.
