Stu Wilson is a New Zealand-born former professional rugby union player who played for the All Blacks from 1977 to 1985. He was a member of the All Blacks team that won the inaugural Rugby World Cup in 1987. He also represented New Zealand in the 1983 British Lions tour. Wilson was born in Gore, New Zealand, and attended Southland Boys' High School. He began his rugby career playing for the Southland provincial team in 1977. He made his All Blacks debut in the same year, against Australia in Sydney. He went on to play in a total of 32 tests for the All Blacks, scoring 11 tries. Wilson retired from professional rugby in 1985, and went on to become a successful businessman. He is currently the chairman of the Southland Rugby Union, and is a director of the New Zealand Rugby Union. He is also a member of the New Zealand Order of Merit. As of 2021, Stu Wilson's net worth is estimated to be around $2 million.
