Tahir Mahmood Khan is a Pakistani politician who has served as the Governor of Balochistan from 2013 to 2018. He was born in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan on 24 April 1956. He is the son of former Chief Justice of Pakistan, Sajjad Ali Khan. Tahir Mahmood Khan graduated from the University of Balochistan in 1978 with a degree in law. He then went on to practice law in Quetta. He was appointed as the Advocate General of Balochistan in 2002 and served in that position until 2005. In 2013, Tahir Mahmood Khan was appointed as the Governor of Balochistan. During his tenure, he worked to improve the security situation in the province and to promote economic development. He also worked to improve the education system in the province. Tahir Mahmood Khan is married and has four children. He is estimated to have a net worth of around $2 million.
