Tatiana García

As part of her wide range of activities Tatiana joined the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival as a pre-screener, and in 2011 she became the Associate Director for New York-based Cinema Tropical (CT) which is the leading presenter of Latin American cinema in the U. S. Living between New York and Mexico she has build production bridges between both places.

In 2007 she moved to New York to perfection her interest and passion for film production and completed a Professional Certificate in Film Producing from The New York University (NYU) shortly after in 2010 she obtained a MFA (Master In Fine Arts) in Media Production/Film Production at The City College of New York. Professionally in Mexico Tatiana had worked as a freelance associate producer for MTV (Latin America), working in programs such as CNX, MTV Movie Awards, Fashionista, Mis Premios Nick, Among others she was inspired with producing and shortly moved into films as has always been her passion since a young age, she started working in some independent featured and short films in Mexico City (Todos los Besos, Las Noches del Mal and Mamut) and a documentary (HavanYork), which was sponsored by the Rockefeller Foundation now the Tribeca Film Institute. In New York with great success she has produced many short films (Octo, Un Petit Bout de terre, Sinestesia, Daughter Of Hope, Private Moments (Dir. Curro Sanchez Varela, Goya Winner), Angels (Dir. Zachary Kreschberg), Basket Bronx (Dir. Martin Rosete, Goya Winner) etc. ) All of the amount to many International and local Awards.

Tatiana was born in Mexico City. She Graduated from The Intercontinental University of Mexico (UIC) with a mayor in Visual Communication, parallel to her college degree in 2002 she accomplish a Diploma in Film and gender studies at the renowned Centro de Capacitacion Cinematografica (CCC).
