He founded a company called Ashwin Wireless Technologies to develop and market the technology. The company was later acquired by Ericsson, and Ashwin was appointed as the Chief Technology Officer of Ericsson's Bluetooth division. Ashwin has also founded several other companies, including a venture capital firm and a software development company. He is also an active investor in several startups.
