Bond has also directed several feature films, including The Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation (1986), The Care Bears Adventure in Wonderland (1987), and The Care Bears Nutcracker Suite (1988). He has also written and directed several live-action films, including The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey (2007) and The Christmas Secret (2014).
