Tommy Seebach was a Danish singer, songwriter, composer, and producer. He was one of the most popular and successful Danish singers of the 1970s and 1980s. He was also a member of the band, Tommy Seebach Band. Tommy Seebach was born on 14 September 1949 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was the son of a jazz musician, and he began playing the piano at the age of five. He was a self-taught musician and began writing songs at the age of twelve. Tommy Seebach released his first single in 1969, and his first album in 1971. He went on to release a total of twenty-one albums, and he wrote and produced many of his own songs. He also wrote and produced songs for other artists, including the Danish Eurovision Song Contest entries in 1979 and 1981. Tommy Seebach was a popular live performer, and he toured extensively throughout Europe. He also appeared on television shows and in films. Tommy Seebach died on 31 March 2003, at the age of 53.
