Ton van Klooster is a Dutch swimmer who was born on 17 February 1954 in Hilversum, Netherlands. He is 66 years old. Van Klooster is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won a bronze medal in the 200m butterfly at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, and a silver medal in the same event at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. He also won a bronze medal in the 200m butterfly at the 1978 World Aquatics Championships in Berlin. Van Klooster is also a four-time European champion, having won gold medals in the 200m butterfly at the 1974 European Aquatics Championships in Vienna, and at the 1978 European Aquatics Championships in Berlin. He also won silver medals in the 200m butterfly at the 1975 European Aquatics Championships in Cali, and at the 1979 European Aquatics Championships in Split. Van Klooster retired from competitive swimming in 1981. He currently works as a swimming coach in his hometown of Hilversum. Van Klooster's net worth is not publicly available.
