Tony Aubin was a French composer and conductor who was active in the film industry from the 1930s to the 1960s. He composed the music for over 100 films, including the classic French films Les Enfants du Paradis (1945) and La Ronde (1950). He also wrote the music for the popular French television series Les Cinq Dernières Minutes. Aubin was born in Paris on 8 December 1907. He studied at the Conservatoire de Paris, where he won the first prize in harmony in 1929. He then went on to work as a conductor and composer for the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and the Théâtre des Variétés. In the 1930s, Aubin began to compose music for films. He wrote the music for over 100 films, including the classic French films Les Enfants du Paradis (1945) and La Ronde (1950). He also wrote the music for the popular French television series Les Cinq Dernières Minutes. Aubin was awarded the Legion of Honour in 1960. He died in Paris on 28 April 1975.
