She was a member of the Australian Equestrian Team from 1979 to 1992. In 1984, Roycroft competed in the Los Angeles Olympic Games, where she placed fourth in the individual show jumping event. She also competed in the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, where she placed sixth in the individual show jumping event. In 1992, she competed in the Barcelona Olympic Games, where she placed fourth in the individual show jumping event. In 1985, Roycroft competed in the World Cup Final in Gothenburg, Sweden, where she placed fourth in the individual show jumping event. In 1989, she competed in the World Cup Final in Stockholm, Sweden, where she placed sixth in the individual show jumping event. Roycroft has also competed in the World Equestrian Games, where she placed fourth in the individual show jumping event in 1990. Roycroft is married to fellow equestrian, David Roycroft.
