Victor Fotso is a Cameroonian politician who served as Prime Minister of Cameroon from 1992 to 1996. He was born on 26 June 1926 in Bandjoun, French Cameroon. Fotso studied at the University of Bordeaux in France, where he obtained a degree in law. He then returned to Cameroon and worked as a lawyer in Douala. In 1960, he was elected to the National Assembly of Cameroon and served as Minister of Justice from 1961 to 1965. In 1992, Fotso was appointed Prime Minister of Cameroon by President Paul Biya. He served in this position until 1996, when he was replaced by Peter Mafany Musonge. Fotso is a member of the Social Democratic Front (SDF) political party. He is also a member of the International Court of Justice. As of 2021, Victor Fotso's net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.

Fotso served as the mayor of Bandjoun from 1996 until his death in March 2020. His final reelection was in February 2020. He spent his own money to build Bandjoun's city hall, He was the founder of IUT de Bandjoun, which offered Cameroon its first institute of technology.
