In 2004, Atri made his Minor Counties Championship debut for Lincolnshire against Norfolk. From 2004 to present, he has represented Lincolnshire in 25 Minor Counties Championship matches. He has also represented the county in the MCCA Knockout Trophy, making his debut in that competition for Lincolnshire against Staffordshire in the 2006 Trophy. From 2006 to present, he has represented the county in 23 Trophy matches.

Atri made his first-class debut for Nottinghamshire against West Indies A in 2002. He played 2 further first-class matches for Nottinghamshire in the 2003 County Championship against Middlesex and Kent. In 2003, he made his first-class debut for Loughborough UCEE against Somerset from 2003 to 2005, he represented Loughborough UCCE in 9 first-class matches, the last of which came against Worcestershire.
