He has also written and produced songs for other artists, including Linda Ronstadt, Nicolette Larson, and Juice Newton. Egan has also acted in several films, including The Rose, The Idolmaker, and The Right Stuff. He has also appeared in television shows, including The Love Boat and The A-Team. Egan is currently living in Nashville, Tennessee, where he continues to write and record music.
