Wang Bingqian (born 19 June 1925) is a Chinese politician who served as the Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China from 1983 to 1988. He was a member of the Communist Party of China and a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China from 1982 to 1987. Wang was born in Henan Province in 1925. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1945 and graduated from the Central Party School in 1949. He then served in various positions in the Communist Party of China, including as the secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China from 1956 to 1965. In 1965, Wang was appointed as the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Public Security. He was then promoted to the Minister of Public Security in 1969. In 1982, he was appointed as the Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. He served in this position until 1988. Wang is currently 98 years old.
