Elmer Wayne Henley is an American actor and former criminal. He was born on May 9, 1956 in Houston, Texas. He is best known for his involvement in the Houston Mass Murders, a series of killings committed by Dean Corll and two accomplices, Henley and David Brooks, between 1970 and 1973. Henley was convicted of six counts of murder and sentenced to six consecutive life sentences. Henley began his acting career in the late 1970s, appearing in several low-budget films and television shows. He has since appeared in a number of films and television shows, including the television movie The Houston Mass Murders (1983), the television series The X-Files (1996), and the film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006). Henley is currently serving his life sentences at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice's Ramsey Unit in Rosharon, Texas. He is 65 years old.
