Wunna Maung Lwin is a Burmese politician who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar from 2011 to 2016. He was born in Thaton, Mon State, Myanmar. He graduated from the University of Yangon with a degree in law in 1975. He began his career as a lawyer in 1976 and was appointed as a judge in the Supreme Court of Myanmar in 1988. He was appointed as the Attorney General of Myanmar in 2004 and served in that position until 2011. In 2011, he was appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar and served in that position until 2016. During his tenure, he was instrumental in the normalization of Myanmar's relations with the United States and other Western countries. He is currently a member of the Union Solidarity and Development Party and is a member of the House of Representatives of Myanmar. He is also a member of the Central Executive Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party. As of 2021, Wunna Maung Lwin's net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.
