Yvonne Littlewood is a British television presenter and actress. She is best known for her work on the BBC's long-running children's show Blue Peter, which she presented from 1967 to 1972. She also presented the BBC's Saturday morning magazine show Magpie from 1968 to 1972. Littlewood was born in Maidstone, Kent, England, on 19 July 1927. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and began her career as an actress in the 1950s. She appeared in a number of television shows, including The Avengers, The Saint, and The Baron. In 1967, Littlewood was chosen to be one of the presenters of Blue Peter, a role she held until 1972. During her time on the show, she was involved in a number of memorable moments, including the launch of the Blue Peter Appeal, the introduction of the Blue Peter badge, and the first ever Blue Peter wedding. In 1972, Littlewood left Blue Peter to pursue other projects. She presented the BBC's Saturday morning magazine show Magpie from 1968 to 1972, and appeared in a number of other television shows, including The Good Old Days, The Two Ronnies, and The Morecambe and Wise Show. Littlewood has also appeared in a number of films, including The Great St Trinian's Train Robbery (1966), The Magnificent Seven Deadly Sins (1971), and The Return of the Pink Panther (1975). Littlewood is now retired from acting and presenting, and lives in London. She is 96 years old.

Littlewood began to work for the BBC in 1944 as a typist in Portland Place, rising to business secretary, and then took a pay cut to work as a production secretary for a producer around the age of 20 at Alexandra Palace, then the base of BBC Television, intending to become one herself. She was later the first female producer in BBC light entertainment, in 1963 she directed the Eurovision Song Contest, which was broadcast live from BBC Television Centre in London. Around the same time she was involved in starting the Jazz 625 series for BBC 2, although she was not the series regular producer.

Yvonne Mary Pearl Littlewood MBE (born July 1927) is a former British television director and producer. Born in Maidstone, Kent, her career extended over three decades. As a child, she briefly moved to King's Lynn, Norfolk, before going to Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, where she was schooled. Her father was a bank accountant in the town, and both her parents were members of the Ross Operatic and Dramatic Society. She was sent for dancing lessons at May Hatton's Academy in Hereford, and took her exams at The Royal Academy.
